I have the pleasure of enjoying a founders breakfast stout right now and wanted to know more about it so I looked up some info. This beer is delicious and refreshingly different, anyone who likes unique beers should give this one a try!

Someone gave this a rating of 1 star, but didn't have the guts to leave a comment as to why. Its a much better album than that. If you just don't like the band or the genre, then move on.

Hi Everyone,

On a serious note, it has been confirmed that Breakfast Stout does contain caffeine. According to the director of operations for Founders Breweries, Breakfast Stout does contain about 15 mg of caffeine.

This is very little compared to coffee (30 - 140 mg caffeine per serving), and less than a caffeinated soda (20 - 26 mg per 6 - 7 oz.). It is more consistent with a cup of hot cocoa which has 10 - 15 mg per 6 - 7 oz serving. Consider that there is 12 oz in a bottle of beer, Breakfast Stout has around 7 mg per 6 oz.

The information above comes from Wilkipedia and http://www.talkaboutcoffee.com/how_much_is_too_much2.html.

Peace,
Reggie

You should put it in a large sauce pan, and bring it to a boil. Once boiling, reduce heat, and let simmer for about three hours. This should thicken it up. Add butter and brown sugar to taste. Note: depending on thickness, three to four beers are required per serving.

The Amazon price still shows $3.99 for the MP3 download (as of 3:06 PM 13 JAN 2010). However, it is currently available for $7.99.

The content of the AD is controlled by Amazon. Sorry if there is any confusion.

Peace,
