What is the Matrix, Mr. Anderson? For those of you who completely enjoyed the movie The Matrix this review is for you. Our local field offices in Hilliard, Ohio provided The Matrix movie soundtrack and I am providing a review of it for you. The soundtrack is appropriately named The Matrix. This soundtrack is recorded under the Warner Record label and is a conglomeration of many excellent songs.
The music on the album varies. Three of the songs are electronic instrumentals. The rest of the music ranges from techno dance, to heavy metal, to techno pop, and also German rock. The artists include, among others, Marilyn Manson, Ministry, Meat Beat Manifesto, Prodigy, Rob Zombie, Rammstein, and Rage Against the Machine. That list should pretty much give you an idea of the type of music on the album. Most of the music just rocks and should be played at the highest level possible on your volume control. You can listen to the CD by clicking on the hyperlink in the first paragraph, but…The websight is very long to load unless you have a cable modem. So I recommend that you visit CDNow and check out some of the tracks and artists there. Click to The Matrix to listen to and buy. The cost is a low 13.99 at CdNow. A bargain just about anywhere. I give this an album a rating of three BB & B's. There are some great songs on the album but it is definitely not an album for all moods.. |
